Here is the postcard (front and back) for my upcoming show "Apron, Interpretations in Painting and Sculpture" The Opening Reception is Friday, Oct. 17, 5:00 - 8:00 pm even though the postcard says Sat. ... ooops Attendees are invited to wear a favorite apron if they are so inclined ... should be great fun!

"Corny" acrylic on canvas, 20" x 16"
Eating fresh corn on the cob in summer has been a favorite treat for me since I was a child. When presented with the opportunity to submit a piece for the "Farmers Markets" show at Margaret Clark Morgan Gallery my mind immediately went to those tasty golden ears and this image of randomly stacked pieces came to mind. Corny is on Exhibit August 28 through October 27 at The Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation Gallery in Hudson (10 W. Streetsboro St.) Gallery hours are 9 - 4:00 pm M-F The title o f the show is "Farmer's Markets" an exhibition of original works by the Hudson Society of Artists. Meet the Artists Reception: Friday, September 12, 5 - 8 pm. Artists Talks at 6 pm |
